When I walk into a library and don’t know what I want, I close my eyes, run my fingers along the spines, and try to pick a book that has a gravitational pull. I call it ‘summoning’ :p

Holy cow.

I started this book at 10 this morning and just finished it. The intensity of the situation, the characters, the emotional responses this book invokes - incredible. I realize it’s an easy read for young audiences, but still, I personally thought it was amazing. If you have a couple hours one day with nothing to do, definitely read this.

It’s a whole new perspective on cases of parents who have killed their children; told from the surviving child’s point of view, it describes what she goes through psychologically and the way it’s written is simply fascinating. Maybe I just think it’s so amazing because I’ve never read anything like this before. In any case, I give his book the thumbs up.

I really want to read this book, but my library doesn’t have it!! And I can’t buy it because I am so running low on the dough.
